Blinded by Greed & Lust

It's been known that man kind is greedy. That is our most deadliest sin. Greed. Which can go hand in hand with Lust. For you have everything you could ever want or need sitting in front of you but your Greed makes you Lust for something else....just to see if it MIGHT be something better out there. but you don't want to let go of what you already have so you let it linger knowing it is not doing either one of you any good. Is this human nature?
I have seen little kids put so much candy in their mouths but yet & still go grab after more...just in case they may not have a chance later they want as much as they can now. Is this the reason for obesity? Which also reminds me of Cinderella Gus (the mouse) is being chased after the cat but he is so greedy he wants to pick up every single piece of corn he can until he drops them all almost getting caught. Greed will be the death of Man. Whether it be his soul or him whole.
If you have something great in your face & you know..why let it pass you by for a "chance" that something else just might be a little bit better? not to say anyone should settle & we were all taught to go after the best. But really isn't that just another way of adults teaching us from day one to be just a little bit more greedy, lustful?
I believe honestly our unhappiness comes from within. You are not happy because you don't want to really take the time to see what you already have. That goes for anything. Relationships, jobs, school. Yes it is a good thing to be the best you can be & strive to be better..however don't be greedy. Don't lust for things outside your element when you already have the world presented to you.
Because once that world is no longer existent you only have that "dream" of what could be or what it could have been.
Most people talk about the Bible but do we really learn from it? Eve was being Greedy & Adam was lustful. They had everything they could ever want or need in front of them. But they were not satisfied until they lost it all & it was too late.
Don't be blinded by greed & lust only to loose everything.
